Davy Cielen is a managing partner of the Maiton Consulting Group (London) and a a Principal Consultant of the Business Analytics Institute.

Professor Cielen will lead our discussion on the role of process mining in Data Science. His discussion explores in turn various practices of business analytics in both supervised and unsupervised learning environments, while focusing on specific models of prcoess mining used in machine learning.

Marcel Sieber is a senior research associate at the Zurich University of Applied Science 

In his Summer School course, he will explore the impact of data science on behavioral and cultural patterns in Smart Cities or Society 5.0. He will present cases and methods to use data mining and machine learning to analyze sentiments regarding people’s behavior in 

the context of Smart Cities.

Kurt Stockinger is Professor of Computer Science and Director of Studies in Data Science at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW)

Prof. Dr. Stockinger's research focuses on Data Science with an emphasis on Big Data, data warehousing, business intelligences, advanced analytics and natural language query processing on knowledge bases.

Lee SCHLENKER is Professor of Buisness Analytics and Community Management and a Principal Consultant of the Business Analytics Institute.

Recipient of the EDSF prize for the use of technology in teaching,  as well as a recognized as an expert for the European Commission in learning analytics, Lee has directed or participated in studies on improving management education in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
