Good Morning group. A very warm welcome everyone to the new Analytics for Management group. And thank you for your patience as we were brainstorming content ideas that you would find useful. This is your space  for Analytics in Management. We are designing this space to produce job placements, consulting opportunities as well as develop your data and decision science skills. To that end we will be sharing posts on Data Science practices &  job market, interviews with practitioners and HR personnel in the industry, freelance and contract Data Science job posts,  events, webinars & courses from around the web which we feel will be good learning opportunities,

So without further ado, I would like to open up a discussion on skills for Data Science and how managers meet the need for data analytics in their roles. Big data is now the watch word in many industries. Today we ask, how do managers mitigate the challenges of running Data Science teams and which Data Science skills are a must in today’s management roles?
